The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience working with various consumer packaging materials.
- 5 years of experience with packaging Computer Aided Designs using 2D (ArtiosCAD) and 3D (SolidWorks, NX) applications and palletization software (TOPS and CAPE).
- 8 years of experience, with leading teams for quality, schedule, or design, with an understanding of various packaging materials tooling design and schedules.
- Experience working with sustainable packaging design methods and fiber based materials such as molded pulp trays.
- Experience creating engaging presentations using high-end renders (Keyshot).
- Experience managing multiple packaging projects in a cross-functional environment, and with logistics and operations and how they relate to packaging design.
- Ability to build/manage tolerance analysis of parts, understand and provide DFM feedback, and understand international testing standards such as ASTM, ISTA, etc.
- Ability to travel 20% internationally.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the conception, design, development, documentation creation, validation and release of packaging.
- Interact with suppliers to develop packaging solutions from high-level design concepts.
- Collaborate with ID, PMs, Engineers, User Experience, Marketing, Operations and Logistics teams both in region and out.
- Develop 3D and 2D part drawings and images for manufacturing vendors.
- Present to the executive leadership team on programs when responsible for packaging structure.
