Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Database Developer (Hiring day on June 2 with onsite interviews in Charlotte)

Duration: 12 months with extension possible to 18 months

Location: Charlotte, NC (3 days per week onsite)

Other Approved Locations: Kennesaw, GA

Pay Scale: $60-65/hr W2 (Cannot subcontract or C2C)

Job Description:

Matlen Silver is recruiting for an experienced database developer to join our financial services client's global data warehouse technology team to build and support Regulatory Reporting and Finance solutions for the compliance users in Americas, EMEA, and Asia. This challenging role is a W2 contract opportunity that allows you to work a hybrid model onsite 3 days a week in one of our client's main offices in Charlotte, NC.

Successful candidates will have the following key skills and experience:

• Strong database development skills with deep hands-on programming experience in PL/SQL using Oracle (19c or better ideally)
• Database performance tuning experience
• Linux/Unix shell scripting
• Toad and SQL*Loader

Nice to have skills include:

• ETL design and development experience in DataStage or Informatica
• Expertise with Oracle Exadata including =Smart Storage, Smart Scan, and Cell Offload with ability to explain these features and benefits of using Exadata
• Previous financial enterprise experience
• Python
• Batch scheduling software such as Autosys or a similar tool
