Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Dispatch Operations Manager for a growing, multi-location logistics and transportation organization dedicated to safe, reliable, and high-performance fuel and delivery operations. This role is onsite with multi-site operational oversight across Southern California, with travel between locations as needed. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role supporting a 24/7 dispatch and logistics operation.
Position Overview
The Dispatch Operations Manager will oversee 24/7 dispatch operations across multiple locations and logistics programs, ensuring efficient coordination between dispatchers, drivers, field operations, and leadership teams. This role is responsible for strengthening operational structure, improving communication workflows, and maintaining high levels of service reliability and accountability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building strong, scalable systems that support both people and performance.

Responsibilities
Oversee and manage 24/7 dispatch operations across multiple locations and logistics programs
Lead, coach, and develop dispatch teams while ensuring consistent coverage, scheduling, and performance accountability
Coordinate closely with drivers, fleet, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure efficient routing, scheduling, and service delivery
Manage operational escalations, service disruptions, and emergency response situations with urgency and sound judgment
Monitor operational KPIs including driver performance, safety compliance, service quality, and dispatch efficiency
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance communication, workflow efficiency, and overall operational performance
Qualifications
Experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, fleet, or operations environments with exposure to high-volume operations
Leadership experience managing or supervising teams in a fast-paced operational setting
Strong ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems, and make decisions in real time
Experience with dispatch systems, routing platforms, or transportation management tools preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional coordination skills
