Base pay range
We have an exciting permanent opportunity working for a financial institution. The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall day- to- day supervision, administration, and support of bank operations areas. Supports the loan, deposit, and customer database. This position works Monday-Friday, and reports to VP of Operations. The pay range is $75k-$90k plus bonus, and benefits include: health, dental, PTO, 401k, short and long term disability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Operations department.
- Delegate tasks and monitor department workflow.
- Hire, train, and supervise Operations staff, working with them to meet objectives. Includes ensuring appropriate staffing levels, monitoring work, handling disciplinary issues and writing performance appraisals.
- Develops, implements, and maintains operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and internal compliance requirements
- Provide customer service, answering complicated questions and backing up employees as needed.
- Assist the department head with reports and special projects.
- Handle more complicated problems in Deposit, Loan, Customer Information System Accounting Operations, and Teller Operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Project management skills.
- Strong proficiency in bank operations and preferably the use of the FIS
- Strong knowledge of banking related regulations and laws and ability to apply them on a practical basis to operational areas.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows – Word/Excel, PowerPoint, and customer relationship management system
- Experience with Accounts Payable software.
- Conversant in IT technologies.
- Maintain a high regard for confidential and sensitive information.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 + years of experience in bank operations or related field.
