Position: IOC Network Operations Specialist

Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (Onsite)

Job Type: Full-Time


We are seeking an IOC Network Operations Specialist to support a fast-growing, high-performance infrastructure environment focused on large-scale cloud and data center operations.

This role is part of a 24x7 IOC/NOC team responsible for Tier 2 escalation support, network monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and maintaining reliable service delivery across complex switching, routing, firewall, and interconnect environments.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier 2 escalation support for complex network and infrastructure incidents

• Monitor network performance and proactively address service degradations

• Troubleshoot switching, routing, firewall, and connectivity issues across production environments

• Support hybrid cloud connectivity, backbone services, and customer interconnections

• Execute approved network changes and participate in incident response activities

• Collaborate with Tier 3 engineers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve escalated issues

• Maintain operational documentation, incident records, and runbooks

• Provide technical guidance to Tier 1 support staff and data center technicians


Required Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in a NOC, IOC, data center, or operational networking environment

• Strong troubleshooting skills across LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and firewall technologies

• Experience with Cisco Nexus, Fortinet/FortiGate, or similar enterprise networking platforms

• Familiarity with data center infrastructure including fiber optics, switches, rack-mounted equipment, and PDUs

• Experience working in high-availability, fast-paced production environments

• Strong communication, multitasking, and incident management skills

• CCNA or equivalent networking knowledge preferred


Additional Details:

• Fully onsite role in the Dallas/Fort Worth area

• 12-hour rotating shift schedule

• 4 days on / 3 days off alternating with 3 days on / 4 days off
