Logistics Manager

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH AGV'S AND CONVEYOR SYSTEMS

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee production planning and capacity analysis

• Maintain inventory accuracy and reporting

• Serve as the primary interface between the plant and customers for forecasting and order planning

• Collaborate with customers to ensure delivery performance and service levels

• Manage inventory levels for finished goods and raw materials

• Coordinate purchasing of raw materials and production inputs

• Track daily operational data and compile month-end reports

• Oversee warehousing, logistics, and transportation activities

• Lead and manage the logistics team

• Partner with HR on recruiting and onboarding new employees

• Develop, coach, and evaluate team members

• Ensure department training and performance management are maintained

• Maintain safe and efficient department operations

• Ensure invoicing and operational records remain up to date

• Analyze operational data and identify trends to support plant leadership in decision-making

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and logistics operations

• Strong focus on inventory accuracy and on-time shipments

• Associate degree required in a related field or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred

• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, production planning, or supply chain operations

Skills

• Strong computer proficiency including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Strong analytical and numerical skills

• Experience with logistics and supply chain management systems
