The Loan Processor is responsible for the preparation of loan files, as well as providing assistance to the Loan Officers, their Assistants and Bank customers in the processing of various type of loans.
Primary Responsibilities
Utilize LaserPro program for entry of all customer documents regarding loans
Handle communications with attorney and/or their representatives regarding loan estimate and closing disclosure statement to ensure compliance with federal lending regulations
Responsible for communicating with various federal agencies such as Clerk of Court, DMV, Wildlife & Fisheries offices regarding filing of mortgages, titles of vehicles, calculation of fees, and other related correspondence and documents for loans
Input and updating of customer loan data in all bank computers systems to include LaserPro, Core, GSS, etc.
Review active loan files daily to determine if any documents are missing and/or what can be done to help the process along
Maintenance of escrow accounts to include review of statements for accuracy, insurance premiums, taxes. Also handles correspondence and questions from customers regarding Escrow accounts
Prepare all correspondence to customers as required to support the loan process
Input payments and compile reports related to Credit, Life, Accident and health insurance required for loans
Review and update loan maintenance logs
Perform and assist with clerical duties as assigned to ensure the loan functions of the Bank are performed efficiently and effectively
Aid bank branches with issues with LaserPro and transactions as necessary
Processes TRID loans (Consumer Real Estate)
Processes incoming and outgoing wires
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management, including a rotation of departmental duties (i.e. lockbox, rejects, closing duties)

Detail oriented and analytical skills required for preparation and review of all documents
Strong work ethic, along with high level of integrity and ability to handle information and issues confidentially
Ability to understand, write and review legal loan documents
Strong computer skills, along with ability to adapt to new computer programs
Education And Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required / College Degree a plus
Banking and/or legal experience a plus
