We’re partnered with a growing structural engineering consulting firm to hire a Lead Structural Engineer for their New York team. What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead structural engineering projects across commercial, residential, mixed-use, institutional, and renovation work
• Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact throughout project delivery
• Oversee project schedules, staffing, budgets, and technical execution
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level structural engineers
• Review structural calculations, drawings, and construction documents
• Coordinate closely with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and ownership groups
• Support business development efforts, proposal preparation, and long-term client growth
• Drive quality control and ensure projects are delivered to a high technical standard
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and construction coordination meetings

What You’ll Bring

• PE License required
• 15+ years of structural engineering experience focused on building structures
• Strong experience managing projects and leading engineering teams
• Background working on NYC building projects preferred
• Experience with concrete, steel, masonry, and existing structures
• Strong knowledge of NYC codes and industry standards including ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and IBC
• Proficiency with ETABS, RAM, SAP2000, RISA, and Revit
• Strong communication and client-facing ability
• Ability to manage multiple projects while mentoring engineers and maintaining technical quality
