Base pay range
Role: Information Technology Support Engineer
Compensation Range: $120,000-150,000
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Work Schedule: On-site 5 days per week

Role Overview
We are seeking a polished, proactive, and highly capable Executive Support Specialist to provide dedicated technology support to the CEO and 10–12 senior executives.
You will ensure flawless day‑to‑day technology experiences, build strong relationships with leadership, and represent the IT function with professionalism and confidence.
This is a hands‑on, relationship‑driven role that blends technical expertise with exceptional communication and executive presence. The right candidate anticipates needs, solves problems before they arise, and creates a seamless, frustration‑free technology environment for the C‑suite.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support (Primary Focus)
- Provide high‑touch, in‑person technical support to the CEO and senior leadership, resolving 80–90% of issues independently.
- Support Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Windows laptop environments.
- Troubleshoot day‑to‑day executive requests, including:
- Video conferencing issues
- Presentation support
- Account/login problems
- Device and settings configuration
- Attend Board Meetings to provide live, real‑time technical support and ensure flawless AV setups.
- Understand individual executive preferences, working styles, and technology needs.
Device & Hardware Support
- Ensure executives have the newest and most reliable devices.
- Provide support for mobile devices (including Android for the CEO).
- Configure and maintain laptops, mobile phones, and key peripherals.
- Conduct proactive device checks before important meetings and travel.
AV & Video Conferencing
- Set up and troubleshoot video conferencing and boardroom technologies for high‑stakes meetings.
- Perform pre‑meeting room sweeps to ensure everything is functioning perfectly.
- Serve as the primary expert for conference room and collaboration technology.
Proactive & Relationship‑Centric Approach
- Anticipate issues and resolve them before executives are impacted.
- Build strong, trust‑based relationships with each executive.
- Provide calm, confident, service at all times.
- Represent IT with polish, professionalism, and maturity.
General IT Coordination
- Partner with IT leadership and cross‑functional teams.
- Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining accountability and visibility.
- Support multiple areas of the business during periods of rapid growth and change.

Qualifications
Required Experience
- 5+ years in executive support, VIP support, or high‑touch end‑user support.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows laptop environments.
- Strong experience with video conferencing and AV systems.
- Prior experience supporting senior executives or C‑suite leaders.
Soft Skills
- Highly polished professional presence.
- Comfortable working directly with CEOs, Presidents, and global leaders.
- Superb interpersonal communication; calm under pressure.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and relationship‑driven.
- Curious, personable, and confident — with a service‑first mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience in enterprise technology environments (manufacturing, B2B, or large‑scale corporate settings).
- Exposure to organizations experiencing rapid growth or structural change.
- Experience supporting board‑level meetings or high‑visibility events.
Work Environment
- Onsite, 5 days per week, in the Westerville / Columbus, OH area.
