Sorvynn is an AI automation platform for regulated mid-market companies. We started in defense and have expanded to financial services and other industries where compliance matters. The platform deploys single-tenant inside each customer's cloud environment and runs configurable workflows through a shared engine.
The role
Implementation Specialist is the person who configures the platform for each customer. You'll write the schema definitions, recipe configurations, and connector setups that adapt Sorvynn's shared engine to a specific customer's data and workflows.
What you'll actually do
- Write schema configurations that describe a customer's input documents and data sources so the platform can parse them.
- Define recipes that compose the platform's existing capabilities (parsers, resolvers, generators, connectors) into the workflows a customer needs.
- Configure connectors against customer systems (M365, SharePoint, Salesforce, custodial platforms, ERPs) using the platform's existing connector framework.
- Validate that configurations produce correct outputs against customer test data before anything goes live.
- Read existing patterns in the codebase before writing new configuration. Use AI tools to accelerate this, at production quality.
- Surface blockers fast. Ask when the answer isn't obvious.
- Leave clean handoffs. What you configured, current state, what's broken, what's next.
What we're looking for
This role requires a real foundation. We need someone who can contribute meaningfully from week one.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, technical implementation, or a comparable role where you've configured or extended a platform for real customers.
- A working engineering background. You've written and shipped production Python (or a comparable language). You understand version control, testing, and code review. You can read an unfamiliar codebase and reason about it before changing it.
- Comfort working inside someone else's architecture. You don't reinvent. You learn how the platform works, follow its patterns, and stay inside the layers it defines.
- Exposure to regulated or enterprise environments. Financial services, defense, healthcare, legal, or any industry where compliance, audit trails, and data handling matter.
- Fluency with modern AI tooling. You've used Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools to build real things. You know the difference between AI output that's production-ready and AI output that looks production-ready.
- Strong written communication. You can write a clean PR description, a useful handoff note, and a customer-facing technical answer without supervision.
- A demonstrated quality bar. When in doubt, you do the more polished version. You don't ship work you wouldn't put your name on.
Compensation and benefits
- Salary: $100,000 to $150,000, depending on experience
- Health, dental, and vision coverage
- Flexible PTO
- Remote-first. Work from anywhere in the US
We're an early-stage startup, so the benefits package will continue to evolve as we grow. What we can offer is real ownership and meaningful impact on what Sorvynn becomes.
