Role and Responsibilities As a Hardware Engineer – Electrical:
You will play a key role in developing next-generation digital printing hardware platforms for industrial automation and printing solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated engineer with strong knowledge of electrical systems, hardware integration, and embedded platforms.
In this role, you will work on the design, development, testing, and validation of hardware systems that support advanced industrial printing technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and mechanical engineering to deliver scalable and high-performance products.
You will contribute to hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and integration activities while ensuring reliability, performance, and manufacturability of electrical systems and components.
Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex hardware issues, support system testing, and participate in product development from concept to production release.
Operate with strong ownership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach while working in a collaborative and fast-paced engineering environment.
Job Requirements Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
3–7 years of relevant experience in hardware/electrical engineering and product development.
Skills: (Technical & Behavioural skills)
Design, develop, and validate electrical and hardware systems for industrial products
Work on hardware integration involving embedded systems, controllers, and peripheral interfaces
Collaborate with software and mechanical teams for end-to-end product development
Troubleshoot and debug hardware and electrical issues during development and validation phases
Support system bring-up, testing, and production validation activities
Create and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and design specifications
Strong understanding of electrical circuits, embedded hardware, and system-level integration
Exposure to industrial automation systems and real-world hardware applications
Experience working with hardware validation, testing methodologies, and debugging tools
Ability to analyze system-level electrical issues and drive resolutions independently
Understanding of product development lifecycle and engineering best practices
Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail
Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools and ability to leverage AI in daily work activities will be an added advantage
Behavioural Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration with cross-functional teams, high ownership, accountability, proactive approach, strong learning agility, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with embedded Linux or RTOS-based systems
Knowledge of hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
Exposure to industrial digital printing or imaging systems
Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar tools
Familiarity with high-speed interfaces and hardware communication protocols
Understanding of system architecture and end-to-end product lifecycle
Experience working with global engineering stakeholders
Desirable but not mandatory:
Experience in print/imaging or industrial hardware domain
Exposure to automation and control systems
Ability to work effectively in matrix organizations
Comfortable handling multiple priorities and ambiguous requirements

The salary range for this position is USD $120K – $140K. Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
