Job Summary
We are seeking an Electronic Engineer II who is passionate about designing products that perform in demanding, real-world environments. This role sits at the core of product development, supporting applications such as motorcycle, ATV/UTV, snowmobile, work lights, and signalization systems.
You will work across the full product lifecycle, from early concept and circuit design through hardware validation and manufacturing support. The role offers daily variety, technical challenge, and close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Innovate
Design and implement LED lighting and power electronics solutions for harsh environments with stringent EMI and BCI requirements
Translate customer and sales inquiries and RFQs into manufacturable electronic designs
Troubleshoot complex circuit and system-level issues, including direct technical communication with customers and suppliers
Develop, apply, and continuously improve design standards, testing methods, and best practices
Apply structured problem-solving techniques throughout new product development and continuous improvement efforts
Explore
Build deep technical and market understanding of LED lighting in automotive, motorcycle, ATV/UTV, and golf cart applications
Represent Electrical Engineering on cross-functional teams evaluating feasibility, cost, and performance tradeoffs
Apply regulatory and industry standards alongside optimized manufacturing processes in design decisions
Develop one to two areas of technical specialization aligned with business needs
Perform
Complete DFMEA, DFM/DFA, concept design reviews, and critical design reviews
Manage priorities and timelines to ensure timely execution of engineering deliverables
Escalate risks and challenges proactively when needed
Mentor junior engineers and lead by example within the engineering team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
4+ years of experience designing electronic circuits
Preferred Experience
PCB design using Altium or PADS
SPICE-based circuit simulation
EMI and EMC design practices
Switching power supply design including Buck, Boost, and SEPIC topologies under 200W
Experience with LED lighting systems is a plus
Background in automotive electronics, vehicle controls, or power-sports applications is highly valued
