Pay Range: $20.67 to $22.46

Position Summary
The Family Resource Center Coordinator is responsible for implementing and operating the Family Resource Center in their community. The Family Resource Center Coordinator will lead the collaborative approach to primary prevention in their area, coordinate primary prevention efforts, and work to lead the community to work together. This position will have or has the potential to have direct contact, on a regular and continuing basis, with children who are under the direct supervision of the agency.

Implement services offered at Grace's house that meet the needs of the community
Motivate and collaborate with various community entities to identify and develop professional relationships and partnerships for both Community Partners and the Family Resource Center.
Identify, contact, and maintain knowledge of formal and informal resources in the community that provide family support and recreational activities.
Effectively and professionally represent the agency when promoting Community Partners and the Family Resource Center at events, meetings, and other outreach activities.
Effectively coordinate, plan, and attend events for the community with an emphasis on preventing child abuse and neglect. This could include events held on evenings and weekends.
Effectively and professionally share success stories, engage families to make referrals, and speak with community members in order to maintain or increase the number of clients being served or assist with the creation of the Family Resource Centers.
Effectively monitor program brochures and promotional materials for ongoing accuracy and availability.
Effectively communicate with families that arrive at the Family Resource Center for service and assistance.
Collaborate with community members to effectively assist families.
Responsible for, connecting families to resources, and providing informal support.
Responsible for knowing community resources and connecting families to these resources.
Manage Bauer's social media account to promote Bauer services, including the Family Resource Center.
Ensure the safety and cleanliness of Grace's House
Assist with special projects or other tasks as required
Qualifications
To perform this position successfully, an individual must demonstrate regular, predictable attendance and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and skill required. The individual must be able to successfully pass routine background checks.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a directly related human service field from an accredited college
3 years of experience working with children and families.
Knowledge And Skills Required
Strong connection with the community and ability to maintain positive relationships
Ability to resolve conflict and difficult situations peacefully
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Organization and time management
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a community based setting and/or in families' This role is exposed to tobacco smoke, domestic animals, household pests, and other conditions common to domestic environments.
Minimal safety hazards with general office working
Travel up to 30%.
Certificates And Licenses
Must have a valid Indiana driver's license and the ability to meet the minimum requirements of the insurance carrier at all times.
