The Electrical Engineering manager assists in design, development, implementation, and analysis of parts, systems and technical processes. Performs engineering design and analysis tasks with standard techniques. Works with mechanical engineering, other electrical engineers, and designers in the preparation of plans, designs, computation methods and reports. Completes engineering projects and electro-mechanical system designs to support the successful development, implementation, and sustainment of new systems and products, or modifications and revisions to current systems and products.
The Electrical Engineering Manager position offers a variety of engineering opportunities including testing, design, 2D drafting, analysis, and prototyping.
Familiarity with analog and digital electrical circuits and components
Familiarity with electrical component selection and panel wiring
Familiarity with communication buses such as RS232/RS422/RS485, CAN bus, LVSB, and Ethernet preferred
Follow standard project management practices
Proactively identifies and mitigates risk

Reports progress and status
Completes assigned tasks on time and budget while meeting technical requirements
Reviews customer specifications and requirements, and under direction develops designs to best support them

Years Experience Education Level
Strong performance record as engineer >5 years full-time professional experience. 3 years minimum to consider with strong resume and advanced degree.
BS Engineering from accredited school and engineering work experience or equivalent experience required; MS Engineering or passed FE exam preferred

Experience developing control systems including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, wire lists, and enclosure layouts (PCB experience considered a plus)
Experience working with engineering project management tools
