About The Role

The Data Analyst II role at Modea is a practitioner-level position designed for analytics professionals eager to deepen their expertise at the intersection of marketing technology and healthcare business outcomes. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive product and data analytics solutions tailored for healthcare organizations, with a specialized focus on the healthcare digital experience. You will work within a cross-functional consulting team, leveraging data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making, enhance digital user experiences, and achieve measurable results.

This position requires hands-on experience in web and product analytics, particularly with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA). The ideal candidate is a curious builder who seeks to understand not just the "how" but the "why" behind data patterns, bridging technical features with tangible business value for clients. You will play a vital role in implementing tracking, analyzing complex datasets, and communicating insights effectively to diverse stakeholders, all while maintaining a focus on healthcare compliance and data privacy standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in digital analytics, technical consulting, or related analytical fields
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) including implementation, workspace analysis, or configuration
  • Proficiency in data analysis, data cleaning, transformation, and interpretation
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and database optimization
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or PowerBI
  • Familiarity with tag management platforms like Freshpaint or Tealium
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry standards, including HIPAA compliance and healthcare data challenges
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple work streams independently

Responsibilities

  • Set up, configure, and maintain tracking on healthcare websites and mobile applications to capture essential user journey data
  • Contribute to Adobe CJA implementations, including configuring data views, building workspace projects, and troubleshooting data discrepancies
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and test tags and scripts using tools such as Freshpaint or Tealium, ensuring HIPAA-compliant data collection
  • Design and maintain comprehensive tracking plans, including event naming conventions and data schemas
  • Produce high-quality client deliverables, including performance reports and solution documentation
  • Analyze web and product analytics data to identify user behavior patterns, conversion trends, and optimization opportunities
  • Develop dashboards, insights, and regular reports utilizing platforms like GA4, Heap, and Adobe CJA
  • Utilize SQL, Python, or R to query, clean, and transform large datasets for detailed analysis
  • Own individual work streams within enterprise projects, ensuring timely delivery and proactive communication of progress and risks
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to clients in a clear, engaging manner
  • Educate clients on analytics best practices, data interpretation, and strategic utilization of insights for business growth
  • Stay updated on industry trends in healthcare analytics, compliance, and data privacy standards
  • Support occasional travel to client sites and company events as required
