We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the on-site delivery of mission-critical data center projects across the United States. This is a hands-on construction leadership role responsible for managing contractors, coordinating complex site activities, and driving projects through civil construction, structural delivery, MEP installation, commissioning, and turnover safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing large-scale data center builds and a proven ability to lead fast-paced, multi-discipline construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full construction lifecycle of data center projects from site mobilization through commissioning, substantial completion, and client handover
• Oversee general contractors, subcontractors, and vendor partners, ensuring adherence to schedule, quality, safety, and performance standards
• Develop and maintain detailed master construction schedules, identifying critical path activities and proactively mitigating delays
• Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage installation activities across active construction sites
• Lead owner-contractor meetings, subcontractor coordination sessions, and client progress updates
• Monitor project budgets, change orders, contingency usage, and cost forecasts with regular reporting to senior leadership
• Manage procurement and delivery of long-lead equipment including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, and prefabricated electrical/mechanical systems
• Drive field execution for mission-critical infrastructure including power distribution, cooling systems, redundancy requirements, and commissioning readiness
• Ensure OSHA compliance and enforce site safety standards across all construction operations
• Resolve field issues, RFIs, design conflicts, and technical submittals in coordination with engineering and design teams
• Oversee QA/QC processes, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure operational readiness
• Support project closeout including punch list management, turnover documentation, as-builts, training, and final client acceptance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent field experience
• 8+ years of construction management experience with significant experience delivering data center or mission-critical construction projects
• Proven experience managing large-scale data center builds from ground-up construction through commissioning
• Strong understanding of mission-critical MEP systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC cooling systems, and redundant power infrastructure
• Experience managing general contractors and subcontractors on complex, fast-track construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration
• Experience with commissioning processes and operational turnover in mission-critical environments
• Familiarity with delivery methods including Design-Build, CMAR, and EPC delivery models
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar platforms
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Ability to travel or relocate to project sites within the US as required

Preferred Experience

• Hyperscale or colocation data center experience
• Experience working with mission-critical clients such as cloud, telecom, or enterprise technology providers
• Knowledge of Tier III / Tier IV data center standards and commissioning practices
• Experience delivering projects exceeding $50M in construction value
