Harbor is seeking an experienced individual to join the team as Coordinator of Facilities and Properties! This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Facilities Department, and works collaboratively with executive leadership and vendors.
Position is full-time, 40 hours per week.
Requirements
Education:
HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years prior experience involving building construction, renovation work, property management and supervisory experience.
Prior experience with computerized maintenance systems.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Licensure And Certifications
Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and show proof of personal auto insurance policy to be deemed insurable with Harbor’s vehicle insurance carrier.
Preferred Qualifications
Associates degree.
Essential Functions And Primary Responsibilities
Monitors and coordinates routine maintenance inspections.
Manages the badge and door access system for all locations.
Oversees the maintenance of all HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems and the structural integrity and aesthetic appearance of Harbor facilities.
Assists in preparing bid specifications for contractors for identified projects.
Contacts contractors to secure bids and provides contractors with information necessary to submit bids.
Participated in implementing awarded projects to ensure that work is performed in compliance with bid, budgetary, and quality specifications for the project.
Coordinates the duties of maintenance, janitorial and other related contractual vendors.
Routinely collects bids and price comparisons for routine janitorial and related contractual vendors and under the supervision of the senior management team and Facilities, identifies and implements changes to such contracts as needed.
Assists the senior management team to secure new leases for vehicles and assures their maintenance.
May frequently need to be available after hours for maintenance emergencies.
Keeps current with trends and developments related to essential job competencies.
Demonstrates continued growth in the essential job competencies.
