We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer to act as a key partner to executive leadership and drive the overall performance, efficiency, and scalability of the organization. This individual will be responsible for overseeing core business operations, financial performance, and cross-functional alignment across multiple departments within a growing wholesale environment.
Partner closely with the CEO/ownership team to execute company vision and translate strategic goals into measurable operational plans
Lead overall business operations including finance, accounting, supply chain, warehouse, HR, and related support functions
Develop and manage annual operating plans, KPIs, and performance tracking across departments
Oversee full financial lifecycle including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow oversight, and P&L performance
Monitor financial health daily/weekly and recommend adjustments to improve margins and profitability
Direct senior leadership team and ensure accountability across functional areas
Improve operational workflows, systems, and cross-departmental communication to drive efficiency
Oversee workforce planning, hiring strategies, onboarding, retention, and leadership development initiatives
Manage vendor relationships, banking partnerships, and external financial stakeholders
Support expansion initiatives and evaluate opportunities for operational growth and scalability
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal controls, and risk management policies
Oversee inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and cost control initiatives
Review sales performance, pricing alignment, and operational impact on revenue generation
Participate in ERP/system implementation efforts and ongoing process optimization (including enterprise systems)
Lead recurring executive reporting, leadership meetings, and strategic planning sessions
Must-Have Requirements:
Proven experience in a COO, VP Operations, or senior operational leadership role
Strong background in financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L ownership
Experience leading multi-department organizations in a fast-paced environment
Hands-on leadership approach with ability to balance strategy and execution
Familiarity with enterprise systems and operational technology tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in wholesale, distribution, or similarly structured industries
Background in high-growth, turnaround, or founder-led organizations
Strong experience in supply chain, logistics, and warehouse operations
Demonstrated success driving operational improvement and organizational scaling
