Conducts tests to determine composition, properties, characteristics of various materials.

• Develops formulas and solutions to neutralize hazardous waste


• Prepares lists of compounds for various waste types


• Collaborates with scientists for research


• Prepares technical white papers


• Makes recommendations on safest methods to dispose of various materials.

• Understand how to separate and combine tasks


• Good at figuring out the processes to work efficiently
  


• Knows how to organize people and processes
  

• Apply advanced mathematical concepts


• Apply correlation techniques

• Must have 4 years minimum experience as a chemist
  


• Bachelors degree in chemistry

• Ability to read, analyze technical journals


• Ability to define problems, collect data and facts to draw conclusions


• Certified in Health and Safety
