Summary

We are seeking a Change Management Consultant to manage the people side of a mid-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365 F&SCM and BC) implementations. This role will own and execute the change strategy and day-to-day change workplan to drive readiness, adoption, and sustained business ownership—while operating within the constraints of a regulated, compliance-driven environment.

The consultant will partner closely with the Project Manager, Solution Architect, Functional Leads, Security/Compliance stakeholders, and client business leaders to ensure change activities are integrated across discovery, design, build, test, deployment, and post go-live stabilization. Success is defined by clear role-based impacts, engaged stakeholders, effective communications, effective training and job aids, measured adoption, and minimized disruption through cutover and go-live. Experience working in ERP migrations (Specifically D365 F&SMC on GCC/GCC High environment).

Key Responsibilities

1. Change Strategy & Integrated Workplan

• Build and manage the integrated change management plan aligned to the D365 project plan and release/cutover schedule.

• Maintain an OCM RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, decisions) related to readiness, adoption, communications, and training.

2. Stakeholder & Sponsorship Management

• Identify stakeholder groups and impacted leaders across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing (as applicable), Warehousing, and shared services.

• Establish a sponsorship model and operating rhythm (e.g., sponsor check-ins, leader toolkits, stakeholder briefings).

• Coach leaders and people managers on reinforcing new ways of working and addressing resistance.

3. Change Impact Assessment & Role-Based Readiness

• Conduct role-based change impact analysis (process, policy, security/access, data, and ways-of-working changes).

• Translate impacts into a role-based readiness plan and targeted interventions (communications, training, job aids, coaching).

• Partner with Functional Leads to validate future-state process changes and ensure business readiness for process adoption (not just system readiness).

4. Communications Planning & Delivery (Compliance-Aware)

• Develop and execute a communications plan with targeted messaging by audience (executives, managers, end users, super users, IT/support).

• Draft project communications such as announcements, FAQs, what’s changing/why, key dates, “what you need to do,” and go-live expectations.

• Ensure communications align with regulated environment constraints (e.g., appropriate handling of sensitive data, controlled distribution, and approved channels).

5. Training Strategy, Curriculum & Enablement Materials

• Build a role-based training strategy and curriculum aligned to D365 F&SCM business processes and security roles.

• Produce and/or coordinate creation of enablement assets: quick reference guides (QRGs), job aids, SOP updates, process flows, and end-user “day-in-the-life” materials.

• Ensure training supports secure and compliant ways of working in GCC High (e.g., role-based access, controlled processes, auditability expectations).

6. Super User / Champion Network

• Stand up a super user (champion) network with clear responsibilities across UAT, training support, go-live hypercare, and reinforcement.

• Provide champions with toolkits, talk tracks, office-hours schedules, and feedback mechanisms.

7. Resistance Management & Feedback Loops

• Proactively identify resistance themes and adoption risks through listening sessions, surveys, office hours, and stakeholder check-ins.

• Create mitigation plans and partner with leaders/PM to resolve barriers (process confusion, workload concerns, policy constraints, access issues).

Track and report resistance items and resolutions.

8. Adoption Measurement, Reporting, Cutover & Reinforcement

• Define adoption measures and how they will be tracked (e.g., training completion, readiness checkpoints, helpdesk themes, usage indicators where available).

• Deliver concise readiness/adoption status reporting to the project team and steering committee, including recommendations and decisions needed.

• Support go-live readiness planning: readiness checkpoints, communications cadence, end-user support model coordination, and go/no-go inputs.

• Coordinate hypercare communications, office hours, and reinforcement activities; capture lessons learned for future phases/releases.

Interpersonal & Professional Skills

• Demonstrated ability to lead change management workstreams on technology implementations with multiple stakeholder groups.

• Strong facilitation skills (workshops, impact sessions, leader alignment discussions, end-user sessions).

• Strong writing skills for executive-ready communications and end-user friendly messaging.

• Experience creating role-based training plans and coordinating development of job aids / SOPs / QRGs.

• Ability to operate effectively in structured, compliance-driven environments with high attention to detail.

• Strong project execution discipline: planning, dependency management, RAID tracking, and status reporting.

• Comfort partnering with technical teams (PM, architects, functional leads) and translating technical change into business/user impacts.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 8+ years of hands-on change management experience, preferably within consulting or client delivery environments.

• GCC High experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience in one or more regulated / controlled environments (e.g., government contracting, aerospace/defense, highly controlled cloud/security constraints, or similar).

• Experience supporting ERP or enterprise platform implementations (Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or similar); D365 experience strongly preferred.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Prosci certification (or comparable change certification).

• Experience working with role-based security concepts and the organizational impacts of access controls and auditability.
