Coordinating barge surveys with field cargo surveyors and releasing barges back to customer and barge lines
Assisting management with customer issues
Collaborating with internal and external departments
Creating vessel discharge / load plans
Maintaining accurate data collection, entry, and reporting any problems to appropriate parties.
Possible customer, vendor and facility visits
Providing emergency coverage during our busy season. (Or if a coworker has an emergency causing them to be absent from work)
Work an “on call” rotation where you would work 1 weekend (possibility of 2 weekends per month) Plus working an after hours “on call” role 1 week a month (possibility of 2 weeks per month)
Interfacing with customers, vendors, surveyors, etc.
Updating and maintaining reports
