Assistant Superintendent – Healthcare / Commercial Construction

My client is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on healthcare and commercial construction projects throughout Los Angeles County. This role will assist with day-to-day site management, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, safety, QA/QC, and project closeout activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with daily field operations and site coordination
• Manage subcontractor schedules, inspections, and project progress
• Support QA/QC, safety compliance, and document control efforts
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, punch lists, and project closeout
• Maintain organized project documentation and communicate updates with the project team
• Help ensure projects stay on schedule and within quality standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience preferred
• Healthcare TI or OSHPD/HCAI project experience strongly preferred
• Experience with projects ranging from $500K–$20M
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and jobsite safety
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction software preferred
• Construction Management degree preferred, but field experience will be considered
