She's Not Here
She's Not Here is a 2D video game written in Javascript and Crafty.js library, built by 5 girls under a week. Our game tells of a trans teenage girl who is struggling with her insecurities and allows the player--with the help of 12 different abilities--to defeat the character's inner demons in every level. Ultimately, the final boss is essentially herself, the source and accumulation of all her insecurities.

She's Not Here aims to literally and metaphorically fight against the disparity of transgender representation in main stream video games. We hope to be able to minimize the threat of harassment and disrespect transgender gamers experience and the fear of feeling unsafe in the gaming community.
