    Billhighway has been a pioneer for nonprofit technology enablement and automation for over 10 years. We believe in leveraging the power of technology for the greater good. Building on our strengths in payment processing for membership-based organizations, in 2013 we sought out to transform another nonprofit segment; fundraising organizations.

    In 2013 we expanded our market and secured business with several fundraising organizations to help pilot our new capabilities. These organizations included education, civic and social sectors of the nonprofit industry. These organizations also have unique characteristics, as a large percentage of their revenue is derived from donations, often led by campaigns and outreach events vs. sustaining membership or foundation dollars.

    Our solution was aimed to create a closed-loop ecosystem to enrich donor relationships, increase transparency and drive deeper engagement, loyalty and advocacy. This could only be possible by deeply integrating the myriad of moving parts that make up fund development initiatives within world-class organizations. The parts are often derived of countless manual activities, as well as dozens of cobbled-together technology products or services, many of which were aging, inefficient and/or unnecessarily complicated.

    By developing an end-to-end value stream, we were able to leverage current technology investments, and harness Billhighway’s unique financial platform to provide the “plumbing.” By connecting the dollars and the data to the respective systems (Raisers Edge, Salesforce, Quickbooks, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) organization(s) can drive out inefficiencies, automate manual and error-prone work, while making timely decisions and ensuring more proceeds go toward mission-driven work.
