A big #earnings beat for NetApp (who also beat guidance), closing its FY25 with growth in all the right spots - though being cautious w/ guidance because of the macro. Here's what I like: -> Keystone (storage-as-a-service) big bright spot, ↑54% y/y for FY25 -> Keystone provided tailwinds for Prof Services, ↑13% in Q4 to $98M -> Strong cloud storage business, ↑43% y/y FY25, ↑44% Q4 -> Overall public cloud ↑22% in Q4 (excluding Spot) -> All-Flash is 2/3 of Hybrid Cloud Revenue in Q4 -and- 44% of supported installed base. Guidance is down, which NetApp says is driven in part by "on-going friction in US Public Sector and EMEA" - public sector is ~10% of the year's revenue, while EMEA is 34%. A big impactor. NetApp's executing well, growing where we want to see growth, and is running the right playbook to intercept nascent enterprise AI demand. Congratulations to George Kurian & the team!

Forest-level recovery and cleanroom testing are included. - Synthetic Recovery is the shift Instead of restoring step-by-step and hoping it is clean, the platform composes a clean state from multiple backups. It uses ML signals and shows a “cleanliness score” up front. - A sensible AI posture No training on customer data. Coverage across the AI lifecycle, including vector databases, logs, and code paths. Governance first. Early direction toward conversational workflows and an MCP server approach for safer automation. Why it matters Leaders want AI speed, but they also want security and recovery they can trust.
