🔔 Cyber Market Monday Update - Headlines from last week 👇 ▪️Netskope released their S-1 this past week sharing their plans to go public in the coming weeks! They have had a strong performance over the last year climbing to over $700M in ARR growing at 30%+. Their last funding was in 2021 and valued them at $7.5B so this should be strong enough to place them a good chunk higher! ▪️Palo Alto Networks released strong earnings release last week beating on both revenue and earnings. In addition to a great earnings call, they announced that founder and CTO Nir Zuk would be retiring after founding the company 20 years ago! The stock jumped 3% on the report. ▪️Cybersecurity stocks broadly have been beating the S&P benchmark by 30% in 2025 with many individual companies beating it substantially! So far it’s been a strong run for cyber. Any guesses on how Netskope will perform as a public company? It’s the end of PAM as we know it. This isn't just market consolidation - it's the beginning of the end for legacy PAM. CyberArk defined the category… And with it, a generation of painful deployments, frustrated users, and shelfware. Deployments are long. Functionality is limited. Users are frustrated. Most orgs end up with a glorified password vault that breaks workflows and leaves standing privilege everywhere. And when Devs can’t wait? They share creds, bypass controls, build workarounds - they have to get the job done. Your “secure” PAM starts making you less secure. That wave is breaking. What’s emerging is fundamentally different: 👉 A modern control plane that treats identity as the perimeter 👉 And authorization as the enforcement point At Black Hat this week, that shift is front and center. The CISO at a major tech company told me: "We don't need better password vaults. We need real-time policy enforcement that works with our service mesh." The Identity Firewall era is just beginning.
