Documentary Film Review: ‘Misconception’
GeekGirl World
See publicationAcademy Award-winning filmmaker Jessica Yu’s Misconception offers another take on the question of over population, a fresh look at forces that really drive both familial and environmental destruction, and allows the viewer the opportunity to delve in to one of the most poignant questions for modern humanity: What is the value of one human life? Stand up for what you believe: Online resources can help would-be activists find a voice
Seattle Times: NEXT
See publicationMany in my generation constantly feel that our voices aren't heard. The "powers that be" often seem too elite, too wealthy and too far removed from our own daily concerns.

Homosexual backlash: We can't let intolerance destroy vibrant lives
Seattle Times: NEXT

Red planet beckons
Seattle Times: NEXT
See publicationMars is rising. The Red Planet will be closer than ever to the Earth, closer than it has been in recorded history. Seattle Times: NEXT
See publicationThe voices of fear say that we must continually make war. First, against one nation, then another, then back to the other. The ultimate power over our world economy for the benefit of America.

The struggles and triumphs of Seattle's indie film scene
Seattle Times: NEXT
See publicationLights! Camera! Action! These three words — evoking power and excitement — are rarely shouted out on an actual film production set, but they are the cliché call to begin a take of a scene. In a similar fashion, the film industry exerts a powerful and glamorous attraction that draws multitudes of young people into the business. We go to school, we volunteer for "production assistant" positions to get that proverbial foot in the door, and we all try to fit into this ever-evolving scene.
