    This project is based on the Internet of Things (IoT) which is the latest trend in Networking and Computing.
    Main motive of this project is to control a car and relay back live feed over the internet using Android smart phone. In this project a toy car will be reconstructed to house a Raspberry PI in place of its radio receiver. A camera will be attached to the PI that will relay back the live feed over the internet to a mobile application. The server is sitting on the cloud. It is…

    This project is based on the Internet of Things (IoT) which is the latest trend in Networking and Computing.
    Main motive of this project is to control a car and relay back live feed over the internet using Android smart phone. In this project a toy car will be reconstructed to house a Raspberry PI in place of its radio receiver. A camera will be attached to the PI that will relay back the live feed over the internet to a mobile application. The server is sitting on the cloud. It is programmed in Java socket programming which continuously listens to the requests from smart phone and relay the control messages to the PI. Behavior of PI changes according to the control messages.
    The user interface is developed in Android, server is written in Java and PI handles the control messages using Python.
