Graph Traversal using Apache TinkerPop(Gremlin)
Implemented the functionalities of graph computing framework, Apache TinkerPop and the Gremlin graph traversal language. Queried the graph to find ancestors of any given node and maximum depth using commands such as unfold(), filter(), repeat().

Geospatial Data Handling
Acquired spatial coordinates of neighboring places and generated KML file of those locations.
Visualized those places in Google Earth, calculated the nearest neighbors to a given location and generated a convex hull using Postgres. -
Data Analysis using WEKA
Determined whether a patient is sick or not based on thyroid levels and related parameters using WEKA by analyzing a large data set. Implemented theoretical knowledge of classification algorithms involving ID3, J48 decision tree, compared results to select best algorithm for given dataset based on ability to handle missing values and other parameters.

• Developed a Hidden Markov Model with Laplace smoothing for determining part-of-speech tags for each word with 2500 words per second & 90% test F1-score.

Designed a model to classify twitter users into bots and humans; assign credibility levels to their present news-worthy tweets based on user classification and tweet history.
Objective: Assign a credibility value to the tweet as well the user posting it to determine how trustworthy that information is.
Used Twitter API for tweet extraction, R for analysis and model generation.
