Pijus Bulvinas, CFP® posted thisNobody tells you how weird it feels to pitch yourself to a complete stranger for the first time. Couple weeks ago I had my first ever prospect call and I was nervous. Not because I didn't know my stuff, but because I really didn't want to come across as "salesy." That's my biggest pet peeve, honestly. So I didn't sell. I just showed up as myself. We talked. Really talked. About life, about what he was hoping for, about what was on his mind. Towards the end, I was straightforward about my services and fees, because I think people deserve to know exactly what they're getting into. He became a client. I don't know if this approach works every time, I'm sure it won't. But I do know I felt good about the conversation regardless of the outcome. And I think that matters. Just a small reminder that being human in business is never the wrong move. 🙌 If you're ever curious about working together, my door (and calendar) is open for a no-pressure conversation.

I swear LinkedIn has reached the point where someone could spill coffee and turn it into a 5-paragraph lesson on leadership. So naturally, here I am doing the same thing (for fun). A few takeaways: – You think you’re prepared… until something hits you way harder than expected (first sled push / first real discovery call) – Going out too hot feels great early… not so much later (looking at you, overpromised timelines) – Right when you think you’re in a groove, something humbles you (procurement, legal, wall balls… all the same energy) – The last stretch is basically just mental toughness – And somehow, when it’s over, you’re like ���that wasn’t that bad” and do it all over again End of the day… we’ll really turn anything into a lesson if it means making a post. Appreciate everyone who’s read this far without rolling their eyes , now back to regularly scheduled sales emails. #B2BSales #HYROX
