The personal computer and the Internet are dramatically changing the ways in which society communicates, works, and plays. These technologies also stand to forever change the ways in which we teach and learn. Our notions of literacy and education itself must expand into pliable, organic ways of thinking to match the flexible nature of the digital media that today's students are being reared on. Education is no longer about memorizing facts and figures, but rather learning how and where to find them, and_more importantly_what can be done with them once they're in hand. In Teaching and Learning with Technology, Noah Kravitz seeks to place the Information Revolution of today in historical context against the Print and Industrial Revolutions that preceded it, and to provide a hands-on guide to New Media in the classroom to the beginner and expert alike.
