Alltech Audio Visual, Inc.: Technical Integration and Leadership At Alltech Audio Visual, Inc., I strengthened a fully integrated approach to aligning audio, video, and lighting for high-demand projects. I led technical preproduction, acoustic modeling, and IP-based signal routing, ensuring compatibility with Audio Engineering Society 67 (AES67) and Audio over Internet Protocol (AoIP) workflows. I deployed Front of House (FOH) and monitor consoles 🎚️, built redundant networks for light-emitting diode (LED) systems and 12G Serial Digital Interface (SDI) 🎥, and configured routed matrices for cameras, graphics, and program return. On the lighting side, I programmed GrandMA with distribution over Art-Net and Streaming Architecture for Control Networks (sACN) 💡, locking everything to timecode for frame-accurate scenes. As an Audio Visual Technical Producer and Project Manager, I coordinated logistics, rigging, and stress tests; defined phase-based checklists and service-level agreements; and implemented active–passive contingency plans 🔌. I led multidisciplinary crews, integrating high-performance microphone systems, in-ear monitoring, and measurements under International Telecommunication Union (ITU) BS.1770, together with Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) ST 2110 standards for live broadcasts and hybrid productions. Every deployment was documented with drawings, load calculations, and operational signage to protect both safety and efficiency. Here are three simple practices we apply across our productions: 1. Survey the room before you shoot; assess natural light, reflective surfaces, and potential shadows. 2. Identify the subject’s position first before placing lights. Lighting should enhance the talent, not restrict them. 3. Your key light doesn’t always need full brightness.
