Data from We Are Social Digital Landscape Reports reveals platform shifts in audience penetration: YouTube was the clear leader in 2023 (91%) and 2024 (85%), but saw a drop in 2025 (61%) Facebook rebounded in 2024 (36%) after a dip in 2023 (26%), though it's expected to decline again in 2025 (32%) Instagram steadily grew from 2023 (38%) to 2024 (51%), with a slight dip in 2025 (46%) — still a strong contender for visual-first campaigns. 📊 A major shift in how consumers in Saudi Arabia want to engage with brands. According to Snap Inc.’s latest study, The Conversation Advantage, conducted in partnership with MCN | Middle East Communications Network, 85% of Saudis are open to receiving brand messages directly in private chats. Even more interesting is that over half see visual messaging (images, short videos, expressive formats) as a real form of conversation. Communication is evolving beyond text and brands that show up in ways that feel native and personal are seeing stronger connection and positivity. 💡 The takeaway: Direct messaging isn’t intrusive when it’s relevant and authentic.
