If Your Team’s Moving Fast, Why Isn’t Your QA? Manual testing is the silent killer of release speed. It delays feedback, introduces errors, and forces you to choose between quality and velocity. Our eBook reveals the 5 signs your manual testing is holding you back—and how automation can turn your pipeline into a competitive advantage. Don’t let QA be the bottleneck. This message is to all QA Professionals out there. It’s time to start speaking the language of CEO, CFO and COO. Too often, QA conversations revolve around defect counts, test cases executed, or coverage percentages. While these metrics matter to us, they rarely resonate with executives. C-level executives don't wake up thinking about how many bugs were caught. They care about: a. Money protected (savings, avoided costs) b. Risks reduced (compliance, brand, operational) c. Customers retained (loyalty, trust, satisfaction) This is the language of business. And unless QA professionals learn to translate their work into this language, our craft will always be undervalued and disrespected. That's where HIST (Human Intelligence Software Testing) comes in. HIST doesn’t just improve testing, it teaches you how to align your testing outcomes with business impact. It reframes QA as a strategic partner in protecting revenue, reducing risk and strengthening customer trust. The future of QA isn't in defect counts or AI Automation scripts generation stats. It’s in demonstrating how our work safeguards the business. HIST gives us the framework to do exactly that. Thoughts? Everyone’s saying QA is dead. They’re wrong. It’s just being rebuilt by AI — quietly, powerfully, and permanently. This isn’t a debate about tools. It’s a transformation of how we think, test, and ship with confidence. Here’s how modern QA is evolving: – Tests are written by prompt – Root causes are explained, not guessed – Test data is smarter, contextual, fast – Only the tests that matter are run – AI spots bugs before the UI is even pushed – And automation feels like architecture — not repetition I’ve mapped the exact shift in this 8-slide guide👇 💬 What part of this AI evolution are you most excited about? #AIinQA #Playwright #TestAutomation #ModernTesting #SoftwareTesting #SDET #QATransformation #PromptEngineering #AutomationStrategy #EngineeringLeadership

Here's why the number and type of defect don't matter and it's a crap metric. Humans cause a lot of crap, by design. It's how we learn. What tells me how well something works, or how healthy a system is: How long it takes to realize you've caused something "negative" to happen, and how long it takes to "clean up" or recover from that unwanted state. Everything else is just paperwork.

QA is where good intentions go to die. 💀 It’s essential...but slow, expensive, and frustrating to scale. Traditional QA tools catch surface-level errors: typos, missing text, broken grammar. But they’re rigid. Want to change tone or domain? You’ll need to rewrite a mess of rules. Every time. That’s changing thanks to AI. New AI-powered QA tools don’t just ask “Is this correct?” They ask: 🧠 Does this reflect the source intent? 🗣️ Does it sound natural in the target language? 👥 Is it right for the audience? Even better? They adapt. Feed in your glossaries, preferences, or brand tone, and the system tunes itself. No more rule-writing marathons! 🎉 Human reviewers still have the final say, of course. But with AI as a first layer, teams get to move faster and cheaper. 👉 Watch the full discussion: https://hubs.la/Q03B8bCS0

Most people think the magic in autonomous testing is the recording. You click around, the tool records your actions, boom - test created. But here’s the truth: Recording is the easy part. The hard part is knowing what to test in the first place. Ask any QA leader - half the battle is just identifying the scenarios worth testing. It’s slow, it’s manual, and it demands deep product intuition. That’s why the real “Aha!” moment with SaolaAI hits when users realize: “Wait… I don’t need to think about that anymore.” Saola automatically surfaces the most critical flows - the ones your users actually perform. You don’t guess. You don’t assume. You see. Then comes the second “Aha!”: All of it runs without breaking - even when your UI changes. Because our second AI model doesn’t just replay steps - It decides, in real time, how and when to act. Like a human would.

Treating QA as “janitorial work” is your biggest bottleneck for 2026. The most persistent software testing problem isn’t flakiness or slowness — it’s the organizational failure to see testing as a strategic, continuous process. If testing is still viewed as a cost center, you’re missing the connection between software quality, customer satisfaction, brand reputation, and revenue. Read our 2026 QA trends blog post to learn about the three forces driving the shift from traditional quality assurance to continuous software quality intelligence. 👉 https://lnkd.in/eY7vzBpm #SoftwareTesting #QA #QualityEngineering #DevOps #EngineeringLeadership

Every time I hear “𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘮𝘪𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴, 𝘴𝘰 𝘸𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘴” I get a slight headache. Not because contract tests are bad, but because the conversation usually stops right there. This is 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗼-𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. Too often, “quality architecture” on the market looks like: • a testing pyramid • a huge catalog of test types • a checklist of “best practices” 𝗡𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. Let’s take a very real e-commerce / supply chain example. One of the most critical business red lines is 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸. Now the uncomfortable part: your system can do exactly that while all your tests are green. After cloud migrations, database moves (𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰, 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘴), async updates, and aggressive caching, inventory and order systems are no longer strictly consistent. Replication lag. Stale reads. Eventual consistency. An order gets confirmed based on yesterday’s stock. No amount of “correct” test types will save you here. The problem is not missing tests. The problem is 𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲-𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀. So, a Quality Architect does not ask, “𝘋𝘰 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘴?” A Quality Architect asks: • Where is the source of truth? • What is the acceptable replication lag? • What fails first? • What failure causes a cascade? • Where must the system stop instead of pretending everything is fine? Architecture is about decisions and consequences. 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘀, 𝗽𝘆𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗱𝘀, 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀. 𝗔 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀. #QualityArchitecture #QualityEngineering #SoftwareArchitecture #Testing #CargoCultTesting #SystemDesign #RiskBasedTesting #DistributedSystems #Ecommerce #SupplyChain
