Mike Small shared thisYesterday’s keynote panel at the SIA Executive Forum, titled “Adapt, Align, Accelerate: CEO Decisions That Will Shape the Future of Staffing,” reinforced a key insight that many effective leaders are already embracing. The market is evolving beyond traditional staffing toward services and platform-driven models, with buyer expectations shifting accordingly. Clients now seek measurable outcomes, reliable accountability, and integrated solutions that unify talent, delivery, and technology. This is the new standard, and it will continue to rise. Akkodis has been intentional in scaling our services business, embarking on a multi-year transformation that demanded conviction, focus, discipline, and a readiness to rethink how we create value for our clients and colleagues. For those interested in understanding this broader shift, HFS has documented some of this evolution in their recent analysis. https://lnkd.in/eTyPwXs6 The future is not solely about staffing or services; it encompasses engineered solutions that integrate talent, technology, automation, and AI to deliver consistent and rapid outcomes. This is where the genuine opportunity lies, and it is the direction we will continue to pursue. Thank you to SIA and my fellow panelists for facilitating such an important discussion and fostering a space for candid perspectives. #Akkodis #SIA

Mike Small shared this✨ It was great being at the SIA Executive Forum 2026 in Austin and taking part in two sessions focused on what is changing in our market. There was a lot of honest discussion around where IT talent demand is going, how AI is shifting expectations, and what leaders need to do now to stay competitive. I always value forums like this because you get beyond headlines and into the real tradeoffs executives are dealing with. Thank you to SIA for hosting a great event, and to everyone who took time to share perspectives and compare notes! #Akkodis #SIA #IT #AI

Mike Small shared this🚀 I’m looking forward to the SIA Executive Forum 2026 in Austin and am grateful for the opportunity to speak in two sessions on March 24. I’ll speak first in “Key Trends in IT Staffing and IT Talent” at 10:30 AM in room 1–2, and later I’ll be sitting on the keynote panel “Adapt, Align, Accelerate: CEO Decisions That Will Shape the Future of Staffing” at 4:15 PM in Ballroom 5–6. This is a fantastic opportunity to have an open discussion with other industry leaders on the range of changes that are shaping our entire sector. If you’re at the conference, drop in on one of my sessions and say hi. I’d love to connect and hear what you’re seeing in the market! #Akkodis #SIA #IT

Mike Small reposted thisMike Small reposted thisInspired by an impactful visit with our team in Bulgaria this week. Bulgaria continues to be one of Akkodis’ strongest hubs, with deep expertise in Digital & Software, Cloud, Infrastructure & Security and Data Analytics & AI. This is #Akkodis Intelligence in action, a place where technology unlocks human potential to accelerate outcomes for our clients. During my visit, I participated in a townhall with our Bulgaria-based colleagues. This was a lively session and their passion, creativity and commitment to excellence truly stood out. We also welcomed Continent 8 Technologies for a strategic visit to discuss our ongoing collaboration, underscoring the momentum of our partnership. Thank you, Stayko Shivarov and the entire Bulgaria team, for the momentum and ambition! 🙂

Mike Small shared thisThis week, I am back traveling with Jo Debecker, Akkodis Global CEO, and Sebastien Sauvage, Global COO, to meet with another GCC client and our team in Solphia, Bulgaria. It was a pleasure to attend some national holiday festivities in Bulgaria with colleagues and clients. The cultural warmth and dedication of the Bulgarian people are truly remarkable. Experiencing the real-time innovation and client testimonials from our programs in Bulgaria is a genuine honor. Bulgaria's integration into our Global Delivery Center network is powerful, providing access to an incredible talent pool and an experienced team. It's no wonder clients are engaging in discussions around transformation, AI, and GCC capabilities. #Akkodis #Ai #GCC

Mike Small shared thisToday, I had the pleasure of meeting with one of our fastest-growing, high-performing teams at Akkodis Globally. Team Akkodis Canada, you are a shining star. Our defense business, along with our provincial and federal commercial practices, engineering, and aerospace consulting, is a jewel within our portfolio. Great leaders like Tao Qiu build and surround themselves with great people, and this is indeed the case in Akkodis Canada. Our global Akkodis CEO Jo Debecker and COO Sebastien Sauvage witnessed firsthand the transformation in action. It was fantastic to spend time celebrating your successes and discussing our ambiton for the future. I am proud of all of you in Team Akkodis Canada. Keep pushing! #AkkodisCanada

Mike Small shared thisLast night, I had the honor of celebrating the top producers at Akkodis Elite/Allstars event in India. I am so proud to be part of this magnificent team. Many ask about Akkodis North America's transformation from primarily an IT staffing organization to a leader in IT and engineering consulting services. This journey over the past four years has been filled with hard work, and our teams in India have been at the core of this transformation. I celebrated our team's success alongside my management team, our leaders, colleagues, and recruitment teams in India. I take great pride in our team, the culture we've built, and the results we've achieved. Transformation can be challenging, but witnessing our teams come together and make remarkable progress makes me incredibly proud of this moment. Over 300 of our top-producing colleagues and leaders joined us for an evening filled with culture, colleague recognition, and celebration.

Mike Small shared thisI have a deep appreciation for the country and the wonderful people of India. Recently, I had a powerful week with my boss, Jo Debecker, and colleague Maria Bergving, where we discussed the future of Global Capability Centers and the role AI will play in talent development. During my time in Hyderabad, I witnessed how Akkodis, powered by AI, has successfully ramped up our recent GCC for one of our most strategic technology companies. We now have over 100 engineers ready to innovate in cloud security, network, and cloud migration services. This evening, we will celebrate our annual all-star employee recognition event, honoring the incredible individuals who contribute to the success of Akkodis India. To prepare for the event, my favorite workout crew and I hit the gym at 4 AM. The energy, innovation, and culture here are truly inspiring. I can't express enough how much I love #AkkodisIndia. Mike Small liked thisMike Small liked thisBig conversations. Real decisions. No waiting for perfect conditions. At Staffing Industry Analysts #ExecForum, our CEO, Art Papas, joined an incredible group of industry leaders for the keynote panel: Adapt, Align, Accelerate: CEO Decisions That Will Shape the Future of Staffing. In a moment where uncertainty is the norm, this session tackled how top CEOs are: → Adapting to ongoing disruption → Aligning around new strategic priorities → Accelerating performance without perfect visibility The takeaway: the firms pulling ahead are making disciplined, high-impact decisions right now. A huge thank you to moderator Ursula Williams and fellow panelists: Teresa Creech (Beeline), Janette Marx (Employbridge), Mike Small (Akkodis/The Adecco Group) and Michael Smith (Randstad Enterprise). Stop by the Bullhorn lounge to speak to our team about how leading firms are turning strategy into measurable growth.

From sorting donations to preparing professional attire, the day was full of meaningful moments - but one stood out. We had the honor of helping a young man, fresh off his recent Connections graduation, find the perfect suit as he steps into his next chapter. Keeping Kansas City sharp - one opportunity, one outfit, one story at a time. Proud of this team and grateful for the chance to play a small role in such life-changing work. Mike Small liked thisMike Small liked thisWomen’s History Month for Catalyst Inc. is the equivalent of March madness in college basketball, and this year was especially active for me. I wrote in detail last week about my incredible experience at JPMorganChase’s Women’s Leadership Day — and I continue to think about how impactful that was. But the energy that’s been driving me started right at the beginning of March and it has defined the month. Our new book MEN AT WORK released just ahead of International Women’s Day on March 3 when I was in Paris with Sanofi, presenting about the importance of gender partnership for closing gender gaps and advancing workplace inclusion. Throughout the month, I’ve led conversations with business leaders and media about what’s happening with women in the workplace today and the role gender partnership can play in driving culture change and organizational performance at a critical time: ● Just before the MEN AT WORK book launch event at the New York Stock Exchange in February, I went on NYSE Floor talk. My conversation with Laura Diorio just dropped. We discussed why launching the book at the NYSE mattered, what gender partnership is and how we activate it in the workplace. I also shared what Catalyst’s research unveiled about the real pressures women face in today’s workforce. ●I spoke with Julie Kratz for her Allyship in Action podcast and her Forbes column about the book and gender partnership — and what it really takes to engage men as true partners in ways that move beyond allyship and sponsorship to shared responsibility for outcomes that benefit all of us. ● On WUSA9’s Great Day Washington, I discussed what women are facing in today’s workforce — including why so many women stepped away from work not because of lost ambition, but because workplace systems weren’t built for the realities of their lives. ● And I recently joined WTOP to share Catalyst’s latest research on women’s workforce participation, caregiving pressures, flexibility and pay. I also highlighted why this moment is urgent not just for women, but for the future of work if we fail to address what’s not working. Women’s History Month is always a time to look back - but also to recommit to the future. This year, it is also an important moment to acknowledge that progress is fragile but change remains possible, especially if we invite everyone into the effort and demonstrate how we all benefit in creating workplaces that work for everyone.

Mike Small liked thisMike Small liked thisAkkodis Canada was glad to host Jo Debecker, President and CEO of Akkodis, during his visit to Canada. Jo brought an all star team from global, include Sebastien Sauvage, Stéphane Latieule, and Charline van der Beek. Mike Small our North American President also joined for the event. This visit was an incredible opportunity to learn directly from our global leaders, introduce Jo and team to our clients, and to share the growth journey we’ve been on over the past three years. With leadership development being a core priority for Jo and for Akkodis as a whole, we also took the moment to spotlight the people shaping our future—especially the women in tech and leadership roles who drive innovation and progress every day. When senior leaders connect with teams on the ground, it strengthens the culture of learning, collaboration, and growth that allows talent to truly thrive. Thank you, Jo, for your time, your leadership, and your continued focus on our people, our progress, and the work ahead. #Akkodis

Mike Small liked thisMike Small liked this“Adapt. Align. Accelerate.” That was the theme of this week’s SIA Executive Forum in Austin, and it captured exactly where our industry is right now. What stood out most wasn’t just the content. It was the tone. A year ago, there was more skepticism about where things were headed. This week, the tone shifted to a renewed sense of confidence, grounded in real signals we’re seeing across the market. A few takeaways that stuck with me: - Growth remains the #1 priority - Healthcare is returning to growth - AI has moved from experiment to operating model - Recruiters are being elevated and accelerated - enabled by technology For me, the biggest reflection is this: The companies that win in this next chapter won’t just adapt, they’ll redefine how work gets done. It was a privilege to be part of the conversation on stage and to learn alongside leaders shaping the future of work. Thank you to Ursula Williams, the Staffing Industry Analysts team, my colleagues at The Adecco Group, and the many peers across the industry pushing us forward. #SIAExecutiveForum #ExecForum

Leadership isn’t taught. It’s shaped. One layer at a time. That’s why THRIVE is more than a program—it’s a shift. We just concluded the THRIVE program for our UK cohort at UST, and the energy, commitment, and transformation we witnessed reaffirmed something many of us in L&D already know: ✅ Great leaders aren’t born—they’re built deliberately. So, what did we focus on? Company Knowledge – Because culture and strategy are two sides of the same coin. Business Fundamentals – To enable decision-making rooted in financial and operational literacy. People Skills – For those moments when influence matters more than authority. Customer Relations – Because every role impacts the client experience. But THRIVE isn’t just about content. It’s about outcomes: - A stronger leadership identity - Elevated business acumen - Sharpened coaching and people management skills - A culture of execution excellence and compliance - A path toward sustainable managerial success To my peers in L&D and HR—THRIVE is a reminder: development journeys must be strategic, experience-rich, and tightly aligned to business realities. Because leadership development isn’t a one-off—it’s a design decision. 👉 How are you shaping your frontline and mid-level leaders for long-term success? #LeadershipDevelopment #ManagerEnablement #LnDStrategy #PeopleFirst #BusinessAcumen #LearningThatMatters #UST #THRIVEProgram Sadhana Mishra, T Mary Mathew, Karthik Narendran, Krishna Ahir, Murali Nair, Colleen Doherty, Jude James, CCWP, Praveen Prabhakaran, Krishna Prasad, Tinu Cherian Abraham, UST, UST Malaysia
