For the last two years, our research team has kept a pulse on AI, speaking with faculty, administrators and students on how AI is impacting education.   Our latest release found that while HED and K12 educators have similar positive perceptions of GenAI, they have strong differences in GenAI adoption rates. 63% of K12 educators (+12% year-over-year) say they (or their school district) have incorporated GenAI technology into their teaching process compared to 49% (+5% YoY) of HED instructors.   You can view more of the findings in the press release below.   As our Chief Digital Officer, Darren Person stated, “We are just scratching the surface on the potential GenAI has for personalizing learning and supporting HED educators, and it’s encouraging to see such optimism and adoption growth in this market.”    At Cengage Group, we are committed to leveraging AI technologies to personalize learning, improve student outcomes, enhance the instructor experience, and ultimately, connect education to real-world careers.
