    This one opens in 2114. Tiffany Stott is an elderly widow who is in the early stages of Alzheimer's. She can go on medication to combat the symptoms but while they were testing, she needed to have an electronic device she calls a sawhorse follow her around to help her out of any trouble. The sawhorse had been developed by her late husband for use by soldiers but she resents its presence. Nonetheless, it proves useful. We get two more stories, going back in time about the device that makes this…

    Don and Mark Play Jazz is a small website for a small band, but uses big technology.

    Bootstrap is used for responsive design. All elements are tagged with microdata as specified at schema.org. PHP and SG_iCal.php used to pull data from a Google calendar. jQuery and NanoGallery used to pull photos from filckr. Integrated with PHPList for mailing lists. Google Analytics used for traffic reporting. Incorporates links to social media.

    Since December of 2014, I've worked with Mary Robinette Kowal, David Levine and Brenda Cooper to create the Seattle and Portland SFWA Reader Series.

    The greater Pacific Northwest is home to Ursula K. Le Guin, Kay Kenyon, Jay Lake, Nancy Kress, Brent Weeks, Ted Chiang and Ramona Quimby. Although Ramona isn't known for her Science Fiction and Fantasy escapades, the rest are, and will be celebrated as part of the Pacific Northwest Reading Series. These free quarterly events provide the…
