Like delayed flights. ✈️ Like rebookings that don’t exist. ❌ Like the moment the airline tells you, “There’s no option but tomorrow.” And instead of calling it off, you watch your team look at each other, shrug, and say: “Alright. Here’s the big takeaway 👉 The difference isn’t in tech. It’s in solutioning. There’s too much “plug & play” thinking out there. But AI + human process change isn’t a universal template. To be effective, it has to be adapted to your business model, layered like a cake 🍰: Strategy : outcomes first, not tools Workstreams : humans + AI redesigned, not bolted on Cognitive layer : copilots where they actually add leverage Data : clean in → insights out (no shortcuts) Coaching : every interaction stays empathetic + brand-right Ops : evolve, don’t “set & forget” Get one wrong and it wobbles. Get them aligned, and you scale. 🙌 Massive thanks to our friends, because that’s really who you are to us ... from those who took hours to drive and others who flew in from across the world, thank you. A daily sense of invention. A public optimism that felt - contagious. Now: models that write, reason, code, design, negotiate. New tools every morning. It’s exciting in the same way. Because Belle Époque wasn’t just champagne and Art Nouveau. It was also inequality, fragile systems, and blind spots all over. AI has the same vibe: a massive upgrade riding on medieval discipline. If this is our new Belle Époque, I would say the goal isn’t to run faster, it’s to move forward without losing ourselves in the process.

Today I’m back in Komoka, Ontario, and this time the doors are open. The same store we walked through just weeks ago with teams working around the clock, details still coming together is now a fully finished No Frills, ready to serve customers from day one. And what a transformation. From the outside, a fresh, modern look that stands out in the community. On the inside, exactly what matters most: a discount store filled with fresh, high-quality groceries at great prices. This is what great retail execution looks like, turning plans into reality, and hard work into something customers can experience every single day. I’m incredibly proud of the teams who made this happen. Opening a store is never simple but when you see the finished result and the first customers walking through the doors, it’s all worth it. Last year the College Skateboarding Educational Foundation awarded Estella a Dean's List Scholarship but her list of community work started long before any scholarship recognized it. AmeriCorps Service Member. Program Lead for Alchemy Skateboarding. Beyond the Bell after-school skate clubs. METALS, a program using skating to reach court-involved youth. And when she looked around and didn't see enough space for women, trans, and non-binary skaters, she built it herself. She's been hosting Grrls* 2 the Front sessions because skateboarding has always been about making your own spot when the world doesn't make one for you. CSEF is a registered 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization and the only national college scholarship fund for student skateboarders. Every dollar donated goes directly toward scholarships for high-potential students, like Estella, overlooked by traditional systems. These students embody the grit, resilience, and tenacity that ensures they will become future change-makers in their communities. That's why CSEF recipients boast a 97% graduation rate and are exactly what the world needs more of right now. Some people wait for someone to believe in them before they start giving back. In 2013, I made what felt like a big leap—leaving CPG for a completely new world at Yum! Brands. As a researcher, I was intrigued by the availability and depth of first-party customer data and what I felt it could unlock. What kept me here for over a decade, though, was totally different. Yum is a place that truly invests in its people—creating opportunities, encouraging growth, and trusting its team members to step into new and different challenges. I experienced that firsthand, starting in a single-brand, US-focused role and having the opportunity over time to work across functions, brands and geographies. When I joined, I was a new mom, stepping into a new industry and my first people leadership role. Twelve years later, I’m leaving having grown in ways I couldn’t have imagined at the time – both personally and professionally – and I’m incredibly grateful for that journey. I often joke that I bleed marinara sauce, but the truth is my love for these brands and this company runs very deep. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside incredibly talented teammates and leaders, and I’ve built friendships that have and will continue to last far beyond these walls. It’s hard to capture 12+ years in a single post, but I’ll always be grateful for the experiences, growth, and people who made my time at Yum what it was. We know this will be disappointing for our travel partners and guests who were due to sail. However, acting early allows us to provide clarity, minimise disruption, and give both agents and customers the flexibility to rebook or make alternative travel plans with confidence. Our focus now is on delivery. Our teams are working closely with travel agents and guests to manage rebookings and offer flexible options across all impacted cruise bookings. We continue to monitor the situation closely and will resume movement of our ships as soon as it is safe to do so. We are preparing for a strong restart to the Mediterranean cruise season, with Celestyal Discovery sailing from 1 May 2026 and Celestyal Journey from 2 May 2026. We remain confident in the season ahead and focused on delivering high-value, destination-rich cruise experiences across the Mediterranean. The most important ones came from my team. 1️⃣Clarity beats complexity. Last year, I realised that more context was not helping. It was slowing decisions. In a world of constant change, people do not need more information. They need clear priorities and simple direction they can act on immediately. 2️⃣Culture drives performance. We had moments where strategy was sound but progress stalled. The gap was not capability. It was trust. When teams feel safe to challenge and contribute, execution accelerates. 3️⃣Innovation is a team sport. Some of our strongest outcomes came from healthy disagreement. The best ideas rarely come from the loudest voice in the room. They surface when diverse perspectives are invited and ownership is shared. If I have had to unlearn anything in my career, it is the idea that leadership is about having the answers. More often, it is about creating the conditions where better answers can emerge. #WeAreLenovo
