My answer has a b2b lens Straight discounting generally just results in a race to the bottom Always remember the equation: Value = Benefit - cost To maintain the value of your product, try to peg it to the benefits you provide, forcing you make them tangible (harder than you think!) Discounting does work when pegged to commitments - deal term - volumes - quantity of services (bundled or not) Either way, remember the value equation!

You're refining your strategic plans with multiple data sources. How do you decide which ones to prioritize?
- data is never perfect so referring to multiple sources is key - comparing company data (generated within your business) to external benchmark data is something I find used - for strategy exercises that are critical, I often find that qualitative interviews with customers and relevant industry participants offer as much, if not more insight into trends - paid research is also extremely valuable from time to time
