    Justin Breen, the founder/CEO of BrEpic Communications LLC, won a Silver Trumpet award from the Publicity Club of Chicago at the 61st annual Golden Trumpet Awards competition on Sept. 10. BrEpic has won a Golden or Silver Trumpet in all three years it has been in business.
    The competition, which was held virtually, featured entries from the greater Chicagoland area, and is known as the premier public relations industry award program in the Midwest.
    BrEpic won a Silver Trumpet award in Media Relations for a media campaign promoting BrEpic client Badu Tax Services, LLC, a Chicago-based, global tax planning business. A BrEpic story on the client—Badu Tax Services Founder Jeff Badu—appeared in numerous mainstream media publications around the world, including WGN TV, Block Club Chicago, WCIU TV, WCIA TV, Yahoo Finance, WGN Radio, Blavity and Face2Face Africa.
    “It’s a tremendous honor to win such a prestigious award in all three of the years BrEpic has been in business,” said Breen, whose company in 2019 won a Golden Trumpet in Media Relations for a media campaign for client Cofield Advisors, and in 2018 won a Silver Trumpet in Media Relations for a media campaign for client the Chicago Academy for the Arts.
