Dealing with demanding clients in advertising: How do you manage unrealistic requests and tight deadlines?
Unrealistic requests, tight deadlines, from demanding clients defines the advertising business! This is "a feature not a bug". Your account managers, creative/delivery team and accounting department should all be built and aligned to consistently and sustainably (dare I say enjoyably!) deliver to that level of service. On the client side, customers need to clearly understand the level of service they signed up for... then you need to plan to over-deliver faster. Surprise clients with early, high quality deliverables, rather than surprising them with late, poor quality deliverables. Either way you are in the business of delivering surprises! Make sure you are delivering the kind of surprise people will be happy to pay for! :-)

How would you prioritize budget allocation between online and offline marketing channels for optimal ROI?
Online and offline should not be thought of separately. Instead, allocate your budget in time across the customer journey in context of total lifetime value. All touch points should be integrated from offline to digital experience and back again, delivering consistent brand experience and high engagement.

As an intern, don’t underestimate your power to bring new ideas to the table! As an all digital all mobile native, you have super powers and insights that all the old people around you literally have no idea about. Be patient with them .. a handful will actually understand what you are talking about !
