Credit Unions for Kids is a nonprofit collaboration of credit unions, chapters, leagues/associations and business partners from across the country, engaged in fundraising activities to benefit 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Adopted as our movement’s charity of choice, credit unions are the 3rd largest sponsor of CMN Hospitals.

The Task Force will work directly with City leadership to develop a long-term, sustainable City budget.

Promotesthe development of electronic solutions that improve the payments system for the benefit of its members and their customers.

The Building Our Dream Executive Cabinet is charged with securing leadership level capital comittments to build a YMCA in Shelton.

The Steering Committee provides feedback on the development for an Economic Development Strategic Plan to guide the city’s economic growth over the next 5 years. The plan will provide a set of strategic initiatives to support business development, entrepreneurship, and workforce development. The plan also will focus on identifying methods to translate Shelton’s unique attributes into an array of competitive advantages.

On July 8, 2013, the City of Shelton Commission authorized the formation of a volunteer citizens Poverty Task Force. The purpose was to collect data and develop facts in order to propose mitigations that will ease the impacts of poverty on people and business in Shelton. As Chair (2002-2005) Served as the primary representatifve for the CUNA Technology Council to the credit union and financial services industry, facilitated the growth of the council, and led the organization to be recognized as the industry leading voice for technology.
