As we begin 2026, hiring and talent acquisition are entering a pivotal phase, shaped by persistent skills shortages, accelerating AI adoption, and continued pressure on organizations to build workforces more strategically in uncertain conditions. This is why the Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association (RPOA) has introduced its 2028 Vision: a clear roadmap to become the world’s most recognized authority on RPO foresight and innovation, and the trusted convener for the global RPO ecosystem. Organizations are increasingly relying on external recruiting partners not simply to fill roles, but to: * Access scarce and specialized talent * Navigate hiring volatility and regional labor shifts * Apply data and market intelligence to workforce planning * Adopt AI responsibly while preserving human judgment RPOA’s vision is designed for this moment - bringing together RPO providers, enterprise talent leaders, and technology partners to collaborate on practical, buyer-centric, and interoperable talent solutions.
