Yet public schools are funded like afterthoughts, even as the threats get bigger and scarier. Vendors: your tools are amazing. Your prices reflect your worth. But without investment in K-12 security, even the best solutions will sit out of reach for too many of us. We don't need charity. We need recognition. We need funding. We need allies who understand that when a school network falls, it’s not just data — it’s lives. Higher ed technology leaders are overworked: 75% of IT leaders describe their workloads as excessive, up from 70% in 2024. At the root of these burdensome workloads, most IT leaders find their current staffing levels insufficient for meeting their team’s goals and needs. According to the new 2025 EDUCAUSE Technology Leadership Workforce in Higher Education Report, when asked what actions their institution has taken to reverse this trend and help address excessive workloads, a plurality of respondents (35%) reported that their institution has taken no actions to address this issue. https://lnkd.in/eiCqhM9K
