It centers on the Interstate 95 North Westbrook Welcome Center, which features an indoor facility with restrooms, vending machines, and a staffed information desk with brochures along with outdoor amenities including a small parking lot, porta-potties, picnic areas, a sheltered gazebo with benches, a canine pet area and gardens. Local residents and officials gave feedback on a multi-million dollar project that brought this facility back to life after it was abandonded due to state budget cuts.
