Local residents and officials gave feedback on a multi-million dollar project that brought this facility back to life after it was abandonded due to state budget cuts. Those in favor said it will increase tourism to the Connecticut River Valley, allow local residents to learn more about attractions and events in their communities and gives I-95 travelers a place to rest while opponents said it is a waste of money, that there are adequate facilities on the interstate for travelers to rest, and that tourist information can be obtained using smart devices.
