Snowflake and OpenAI have inked a multi-year $200M deal to incorporate GPT5.2 models directly into Snowflake's Cortex AI platform. The partnership aims to accelerate the deployment of AI agents across global businesses. Snowflake's CEO, Sridhar Ramaswamy said, "By bringing OpenAI models to enterprise data, Snowflake enables organizations to build and deploy AI on top of their most valuable asset using the secure, governed platform they already trust". Under the agreement, OpenAI models will be made natively available to Snowflake’s 12,600 customers and will also include joint product development and go-to-market efforts focused on enterprise AI use cases.
