Aside from this my first real design job was during senior year working on the parade posters which I did in Macromedia FreeHand, yep, FreeHand.     It was a truly awesome experience, picking and idea, creating it from scratch and making a pitch to real VCs. It was a bit demanding but our team was really good and worked very hard to have the best product possible and the best surprise of all was that we came in 1st.

    Anyone who is thinking of having an experience similiar to this I totally recommend it. Mentors really help you out, and presenting it to real VCs is quite scary, but in the end if you've made a good job you have a lot of chances of winning :)
