Understand the different levels of CRM Sync permissions required to perform specific tasks in Sales Navigator Advanced Plus.
The following table lists the CRM Sync permissions required to perform specific tasks.
Permission level | Description |
---|---|
Read-only permissions | This level of admin permission, along with user-authentication, enables almost all of the CRM Integration features, for example, Activity Writeback that are available after you have established the CRM Sync connection. Important to know |
Read and write permissions | The ability to update contact and lead records requires that a user has read and write permissions for the specific record that they are trying to update. |
No access (CRM sync not enabled) | This level of permissions would mean the admin hasn’t provided enough CRM access permission to enable any CRM Sync functionality. |
The following table describes the objects for each CRM that require access:
CRM | Objects requiring access |
Microsoft Dynamics 365 | Account, Activity, Contact, Lead, Opportunity, System User, Position |
Salesforce | Account, Contact, Lead, Opportunity, Opportunity Role, Task, User, User Role |
HubSpot | Company, Contact, Deals, User, Opportunity Contact Role (OCR) |
