After you promote a job in Recruiter, you’ll be charged based on several defined conditions. Your spend amount depends on the total budget you’ve set for your job posts and the number of views your post receives.
Promoted jobs are shown to qualified candidates in a variety of paid placements throughout LinkedIn. The account is charged only when a candidate clicks on the job. While spend may vary day to day, LinkedIn will try to stretch your budget over the length of the job post.
Promoted jobs are actively surfaced to job seekers:
-
In the LinkedIn feed on the homepage.
-
In Jobs search results with a Promoted tag.
-
On the Jobs homepage via targeted recommendations.
-
In targeted emails sent regularly to members.
-
In instant mobile push notifications via targeted recommendations.
We estimate the number of applicants you could receive by promoting this job based on the performance of similar roles in your industry and the current job-seeking market conditions on LinkedIn.
Advanced Targeting controls who we proactively recommend this job to. While you may see applicants who don't fit your criteria, you'll only be charged for clicks from members who have a profile location within the same country as one of the locations you’ve added, and are likely to possess the Required skills. This may include members that don't have the Required skills listed on their profile.
Your job post will remain open for 30 days. Once you’ve reached your total budget, the job will be paused. You can edit or close your job post at any time.
