The Verified Applicant Spotlight helps recruiters easily identify applicants verified by LinkedIn's trusted network, reducing the risk of fake applicants and saving time.
How the Verified Applicant Spotlight works
Verified Applicants is available as a Spotlight on the Applicant Management page. You can filter your applicant pool by clicking the Verified Applicant section within Spotlights at the top of the page.
A verification badge icon also appears next to the name of each Verified Applicant in your Applicant Pool.
Who are Verified Applicants
Verified Applicants are LinkedIn members who have completed one or more identity verification steps on LinkedIn. Members verify their identity to signal authenticity and build trust within the LinkedIn network.
Members can verify their identity through LinkedIn using secure methods, such as:
-
Government-issued ID verification
-
Workplace or education verification, including email domain-based verification
Verification is optional and visible on members’ profiles.
